Exceptionally rare Rozenburg Den Haag eggshell porcelain tea set by Sam Schellink, March 1899
\nComprises an octagonal tea tray, a teapot with plumed lid,
\na sugar bowl with plumed lid, a milk jug and two cups.
\nThis is one of the first eggshell porcelain tea services, tea sets, that Rozenburg made, when they started the
\nproduction of the, later world famous, eggshell porcelain on March 3, 1899.
\nMore precisely, this set, with work order number 407, was painted by masterpainter Samuel Schellink and apprentice Cornelis Muylwijk, on March 31, 1899.
\nIt was the third set to be painted and intended for presentation at the World\u2019s Fair in Paris to be held the following year.<\/p>\n

Comprising:
\n# tea tray model 8p; 29 x 32\u00bdcm
\n# tea pot model 35p; 18 x 19cm (bottom 11 x 11cm)
\n# milk jug model 36p; 10\u00bd x 12cm (bottom 9 x 9cm)
\n# two cups model 38p; 5 x 9cm (bottom 7\u00bdcm in diameter)
\n# sugar pot model 37p; 12\u00bd x 12cm (bottom 9 x 9cm)
\nAll pieces marked with the factory stamp, year mark, workorder number 407 and painters mark.\"Rozenburg<\/a><\/p>\n
