A very rare eggshell porcelain service comprising a lidded teapot, lidded sugarbowl and creamer. Painted with flowering thistles in shades of green, blue and grey. The teapot (Rozenburg model no. 5) is 9 cm high, 16 cm from spout to handle, the sugar bowl (Rozenburg model no. 7) is 9 cm high and 13 cm wide, the creamer (Rozenburg model no. 6) is 7 cm high and 12 cm wide. Volume of the teapot is exactly ½ metric liter; 1 pint. The three parts are marked with the factory mark, painted yearcode, decorator’s mark and workorder number 430, Sam Schellink, 1908.
