A rare porcelain service, comprising an octagonal-shaped dessert plate, cup and saucer. The plate decorated with two parakeets on a branch amongst flowers and leaves and the saucer with one parakeet. The cup (model 225) is 6 cm high, the saucer (model 14) is 14½ cm in diameter, the plate (model 15) is 21cm in diameter. Cup and saucer work order number 245 and the plate work order number 216, yearmark 1914, painter’s monogram, C.W.J. ‘t Hart, 1914. Painted by ‘t Hart, Nederpelt, Verhoog and Marijnisse.
