An eggshell porcelain service, comprising: a large tray (model 62), a sugar-basin with plumed cover (model 59) , cream jug (model 58) and two cups (model 72) and saucers (model 22), all decorated with flowering thistles in shades of old rose, brown, green and a dark green blue or petrol color. The tray measures 31cm x 35cm, the sugar-basin is 15½cm high and 13cm wide between the handles, the creamer is 10cm high, the cups are 5½cm high and the saucers are 12cm in diameter. Decoration designed by Samuel Schellink and all parts marked with early 1900 factory mark, date code, painter’s monogram and work order number 941. This service was exhibited at the World Fair in Paris, in the year 1900.
