Description
A Rozenburg Den Haag eggshell plate by C.W.J. ‘t Hart, 1914. Painted with an exotic bird on a branch and nasturtium flowers and leaves. The octagonal porcelain plate is model 15p, work order number 216 and manufactured in the week of 8 April 1914, a few months before the factory closed. The high quality of both the porcelain and the painting is remarkable, while at that time only a handful of painters were working at Rozenburg. Painting was carried out by C.W.J. ‘T Hart and J.C.W.
