A very rare pair of earthenware vases painted with a peacock on a branch against a cobalt blue background. Model 216 and 36cm high. Both vases marked with the painted factory mark Amphora Holland, 216/1 and painters’ monogram and incised model no. 216. Designed by Chris van der Hoef, circa 1910.
